During an ultrasound the mirena (levonorgestrel) coil is found to be in place however she found a 1cm tubular structure in my cervix? what could it be?

Difficult to say: If you have a Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud, the retrieval string may be coiled in the cervix giving that appearance. Other possibilities include a nabothian cyst (normal finding) or a dilated vein. Follow up with your doctor to discuss the results.
