My belly button piercing has been leaking a sticky and smelly fluid and when dries becomes crusty? help?

Pierce is infected!: This isn't a leak, it's an infection. You can try antibiotic ointment, but your belly button jewelry is now contaminated with bacteria and will serve as a source of infection and ongoing trouble. Remove the jewelry, soak in ahcohol (or discard), heal the pierce (maybe you need oral antibiotics too), and start over with better wound care and less contamination. Do you own a cat? Litter box germs?

Infection or allergy: Either infected or allergy (to nickel). Apply antibiotic ointment such as Bacitracin for a few days. If not improving see am md.
