Can you drink alcohol with a kidney infection?

Yes: But would suggest not doing this for a couple of reasons. Alcohol in the blood stream inhibits several functions of the white blood cells which eat bacteria. It is also a dehydrating agent since it increases urination without replacing an equivalent volume of liquid, and dehydration is not good in face of infection. On the other hand, if under treatment with approp meds, probably harmless.
