Either: Changes in menstraul cycle can be due to many causes. Significant stress can affect menstrual cycles, and a very common cause of missed periods can be pregnancy.

Depends....: Did it occur in the middle of the menstrual cycle or when your period was due? Either is possible - need a pregnancy test to confirm.
