Read below: If you are not getting injured and stretching properly than there is nothing wrong with continuing a more intense form of exercise. On the other hand, if you are having a lot of injuries or problems, i would cut back on the intensity of my workouts.

Continue to play: As long as you can. Being active is good. You can still play hard as you get older but have to take care of yourself and take precautions. Listen to your body. You will probably have to alter your training routines.

Not sure: Based on your question i guess it would depend on if you have a medical condition that precludes you from exercise or an injury that stops you from playing. I would need more information before giving a suitable answer. If you have had an injury and want to continue to exercise it would depend on the type of injury.
