It could...: If there is associated swelling causing some venous congestion. I would see your orthopaedic surgeon to find out is this is anything serious. Aaos.Org.

Unilateral edema: Hi, unilateral leg edema is a concern and needs urgent attention. Local swelling and inflammation near the pelvic fracture could lead to restriction of venous blood flow causing edema, however more worrisome is the possibility of blood clot due to decreased activity as a result of the pelvic fracture. I suggest a call to your pcp or visit to the er today. Good luck.
