How does zinc benefit the teeth?

Adhesives: The main dental issue involving zinc is excess use of older formulations of denture adhesives which used to have zinc. Intended to be used sparingly, some people used it in great quantities and ended up ingesting too much zinc. As a result, some adhesive manufacturers have moved to reduce or eliminate zinc in their formulations.

Many mouthwashes: And tongue gels use zinc to help combat halitosis (bad breath) and do a very good job. Some examples are smart mouth and tung gel - both excellent products available over the counter.
