Rest when it hurts: The most important treatment for any problem is to find the cause & eliminate it. Overuse injuries (typing, texting, manually labor intensive jobs) require rest & good preventive measures. Initially 'rice'; (rest ice, compress & elevate). Long term use high grade omega-3 fatty acids w/ glucosamine & chondroiton as well as making sure vit. D levels are good. Nsaids & analgesics as a last resort.
