Follow HCG levels: A molar pregnancy is one in which trophoblastic tissue develops into large grape-like tumors, which is made up of pregnant material, but is not a fetus. It usually is benign tissue, but some can be malignant. You must be followed by a specialist (gyn oncology usually) that is experienced in molar pregs. Generally, you must not get pregnant till one year after HCG (human gonadotropin) levels are 0.
