A member asked:

What are some techniques in physical therapy for disc herniation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Usually stretching and range of motion. There are very specific programs for therapy in disc herniation. Some are flexion exercises, some are extention exercises. A lot would depend on the level of the disc, the symptoms, your general condition and health and the presscription given by your doctor. Some therapist use computer guided machines very specific to the rehabilitation of the back.
