Depends on situation: If a kid has a true dietary deficiency, an improved diet & replacement of the omitted material will help.If a kid is deficient in growth hormone, shots of synthetic growth hormone can help. If the kid has the genetics to grow slowly, & receives growth hormone, s/he will grow faster for a time but never be taller than s/he would have been without it.
