Shoulder blade: Typically, a rotator cuff injury prevents the normal function and action of the rotator cuff tendons. It causes an imbalance which promotes inflammation, pain, and tears. The first and best exercise is to strengthen and improve the shoulder blade muscles (scapular stabilizers). Avoid pec/chest work until the shoulder blades are strong enough to balance the shoulder out.

Everything but: You should limit activities related base don pain or discomfort. Items that would likely hurt would be press inclined press exercises, dips, and deltoid flys.
