Is a deviated septum always noticeable externally or can it be unnoticeable?

Septum is internal: A deviated septum can be noticeable externally but many times the septum can be deviated and not show externally. A deviated septum is problematic if you have obstruction of your breathing passageway. This obstruction can be seen by looking into the nose and seeing if there is a septal deviation. This deviation is not always noticeable externally.
