A member asked:

What should i do if i have bad joint pain in legs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rest the achy bones!: See your doctor to make sure there is not a serious condition warranting arthroscopy or joint replacement. Rest, elevate and ice, weight control & a directed physical therapy program for muscle improvement. Common modifiable causes of joint pain are muscle atrophy and excess weight on the joints. Hence a solid physical therapy program with omega-3's, glucosamin/chondroiton and see your orthopedist.
