Get a diagnosis: Seems that there are a few possibilities here. Consider TMJ dysfunction (check with dentist), consider temporal artery tenderness (but usually older folks with temporal arteritis), perhaps a neuralgia associated with ear (nervous intermedius neuralgia). Might see a local neurologist.
