Is carmex a any good for my cold sore, what is the best thing to put on it?

Cold Sore: It will not hurt or help however unless you put it on your finger you will contaminate the stick or jar and then it needs to be dumped. Cold sores heal in 7-10 days by themselves or you may buy an otc drug like abreva which will shorten the time to heal. You can get an rx for zovirax (acyclovir) but it is expensive.
