A member asked:

I had stitches done on the palm of my hand. how can i make sure it is not infected?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Look for these signs: The signs of infection are continued swelling, redness, warmth to touch in the area, fever, pus, and increasing rather than decreasing pain. If any of the above or if you are in doubt have it seen by a doctor.
