What does it mean if the control line is darker than the test line on an ovulation test?

A NEGATIIVE test: For an ovulation test to be positive, the test line must be the same or darker than the control line. If so, ovulation should occur in 1-2 days. If the test line is lighter, keep on testing until you see a positive test.
