Skin infection.: Cellulitis refers to a superficial skin infection, usually bacterial in origin. A brief course of oral antibiotics is generally sufficient treatment. In severe cases, a prolonged course of intravenous antibiotics and hospitalization may be necessary.

If u banged a table hard and hurt your hand and it swelled and turned red can this be cellulitis? X-rays showed no fractures.
