Strengthening: Strengthening of the muscles around the knee can help. Omega-3's, which are found in fish oil, are natural anti-inflammatories and may help as well. The literature is mixed on glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate and msm, but you could try it. Platelet-rich plasma injections, which are made from your own blood may help as well. However, sometimes surgery is necessary.
