A member asked:

I just had a breast mri and the results were: left breast 2-5mm benign intraparenchymal lymph nodes. what does this mean?

No worries.: Lymph nodes are present throughout the breast, especially near the armpit. An MRI is a very sensitive test for evaluating breast abnormalities, including lymph nodes in the breast and armpit. The fact that they look benign would favor no further testing.

Benign: It simply means that it is suggestive of a non-malignant process.
