How old?: Why? Where? When? Who? Questions are difficult for autistic patients to deal with. Your child's age has a tremendous impact on this question. 2-4 year olds rarely ask why. Older children are a nuisance in asking these questions. If your child's older, ask your pediatrician for an evaluation about the child's developmental status.
