I am for it: I am for organ donation. If organs are donated after someone passes away there is no cost to the family for the donation. For a living donation the cost of the surgery is billed to the recipient's insurance. One thing to look out for though is ensuring the living donor is covered for potential medical complications after surgery. Many centers, but not all, offer this.
