Write a letter: Since confidentiality is promised to both parties in a deceased donor transplant, both must agree to be identified. For this reason the opo (organ procurement organization) serves as intermediary. Write a letter without identifying yourself (to my donor's family), give it to your coordinator and it will get to the opo and then the family. Thank you! it will probably be deeply meaningful to them.
