A member asked:

What do you know about stainless steel metal plate or metal dust causing cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The question: Has languished because there is little evidence that stainless steel causes cancer, and "metal dust" is not specific. Nickel may be carcinogenic, as is arsenic, but the exposure has to be fairly dense, and as a per cent cause of anything it is less than 1%, and very likely less than 0.1%.
