Good move: Any activity in which you are hammering, sawing, drilling, using pressure devices and working with anything that might fragment or fly through the air can cause eye injury. Use common sense and always wear protective eye glasses.

Eye protection: Preventative measures to ward off accidental eye injuries is always a great idea. Wear safety glasses anytime there is risk for a projectile striking any part or your body.
