It could be: Most of your symptoms are compatible with GERD. GERD can cause burping, chest and throat burning or sharp pain, and occasional shortness of breath. I'm not sure the ear pain is related. That being said, there are other things that can cause chest pain. If you haven't already, you should see your doctor who can take a full history and examine you. Hope this helps!
