I have been diagnosed with bv several times. i've taken flagyl & some vitamins that helped but it eventually comes back what can help? will yogurt too?

Recurrent BV: Recurrent bacterial vaginosis is very common. BV is hard to treat and permanently clear up. Yogurt or probiotics are not likely to help. Two options often are effective: taking metronidazole (Flagyl®) once a week; or vaginal boric acid capsules. Discuss the best choice with your doctor. Also, if sexually active consider consistent condoms for a few weeks; and/or no sex with female partners.
