Yes: Sometimes dyspareunia can be due to spasm of the pelvic floor muscles. I've had quite a few patients who benefit from physical therapy who have dyspareunia. Biofeedback can work as well.

Dyspareunia: There can be many reasons for pain. The most common is lack of lubrication. If is painful when you start and then gets better, that is your problem. Astroglide is your answer. All women have pain with deep thrust and in certain positions because he 'hits things'. There are lots of other things I could tell you but not knowing the whole story it is difficult to give you the real reason.
