Number of causes: Headaches can be caused by a number of different things. If you are waking up with headaches, tightness in the jaws, you may be clenching or grinding your teeth in your sleep. If you are clenching your teeth while awake you may be compounding the problem. You should have a thorough evaluation to identify what type of headaches you are having so the appropriate treatment can be initiated.
