A member asked:

How long would it take for whiplash to go away?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It varies: Whiplash or cervical strain varies quite a bit in symptoms and severity. Mild cases may improve in days to weeks; others may take months. Restoring movement and neck muscle strength as soon as possible may help. If the pain is severe or you have numbness, tingling, weakness, see your primary provider or spine specialist to make sure it is not just whiplash. Also see someone if no progress.
