Variable: That depends on a number of items: the type of work you do, the method of acl reconstruction, and the graft choices. In some situations, it may take 4-6 months before returning to work. On the other hand, I have patients that are able to return to office work a couple days after an all-inside allograft acl reconstruction. Definitely ask your surgeon!

Right knee or left: In addition a big consideration is whether you right or left knee is done. If it is you left you will be driving much sooner then if it is your right knee done.
