When you get your braces off. will your smile and teeth look bigger?

For sure: Since you have been used to looking at your teeth partially covered by orthodontic brackets for quite some time, when they are removed your teeth will look bigger and feel amazingly smooth. Rest assured, the teeth are not actually bigger.

Yes: They will for a short time appear bigger, as you no longer have the braces or orthodontic appliances on. In time, they will appear normal. What is important is that they will for a lifetime look better.

Optical illusion: It's like wearing a wide belt. It cuts your visual perspective in half. When braces removed normal sized teeth look "big" to the patient until their brain accommodates to the new perspective. To everyone else they look normal.
