Yes: You should always feel welcome to ask for anything. Some docs may be willing to perform elective primary csections, others may not. Choosing a csection based on estimated fetal size is tenuous simply because estimates of fetal size are notoriously inaccurate late in the 3rd trimester. Acog has guidelines suggest a csection is appropriate when the estimated fetal weight is 10 to 11 lbs or more.

Yes: You can ask anything. However, various hospital protocols or your insurance company may require you to go through at least a brief period of labor before the doctor could proceed.This is something i encourage you to discuss with your physician.
