A member asked:

What vitamins help inflamation that is caused by arthritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eicosapentanoic acid: Epa can help but the only proven treatments are prescription meds such as naproxen( nonsteroidals) , steroids, and more specific medications such as biologic drugs (for rheumatoid arthritis) , CellCept (mycophenolate mofetil) for lupus or sarcoid, and other immunosuppressive medications for other types of arthritis. Scurvy arthritis is cured by vitamin c, low thyroid arthritis is cured by thyroid hormone.
