It depends: Leukocytoclastic vasculitis (lcv) can occur alone or in combination with diseases like sle or hepatitis b and c, for instance. That detrmines treatment. Limited non-infectious lcv may respond to Dapsone . Severe disease requires Prednisone or other "heavy duty" medication. If associated with hepatitis, that should be treated simultaneously. You should see an immunologist or rheumatologist.

See details: The possible causes of lcv are numerous and involve allergies, infection, neoplasms and many other diseases. Many times, however, no underlying cause is found. Often the treatment is simply treating the underlying disease. When no disease is found or if the skin involvement is significant, Prednisone is often prescribed. I have also personally found that long term issues often respond to plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine).
