In 2003, i had an epidural while i gave birth; the baby later died of aseptic meningitis. should i be concerned about epidurals possibly causing this?

So sorry for : Your loss. No, you should not be concerned. It is extremely unlikely that your epidural caused this tragedy. Epidurals are placed using a sterile technique. Meningitis in the recipient of an epidural is a rare complication.
