Alcohol is detriment: Alcohol metabolizes like carbohydrate and that is a diabetic's problem: carb metabolism. To drink is to poison the system for them. No more than 1 drink: With food daily if have without food, can cause low blood sugar if more than 1, even with food can get very high sugar or be drunk enough that can't tell if have high or low sugar!
