She may : Autoimmune disorder like behcet's syndrome, sle - systemic lupus, can be presented with mouth ulceration and steroids is something that would help the condition. If there is diagnosis made yet, absolutely, she would need to see a docor and have a careful and thorough clinical examination and testings.
