Definitely NOT: Lupron is the trade name of leuprolide, an antiandrogen medication used for a variety of ailments including prostate cancer. Depoprovera is the trade name of Medroxyprogesterone also used for a variety of things including prevention of pregnancy. Lupron comes in a depot form, Lupron depot which probably led to the question.
