A member asked:

I'm not having menses for abt 6 months. and i am 21 years old. will there be any problem for not having menses for such a long period? (not pregnant)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: There is no problem in not having menses per se. The problem may occur if and when you try to become pregnant. You are probably not ovulating and this is necessary to become pregnant. Many times this is treatable with medication. See an infertility specialist if it becomes necessary or a matter of concern.
