Maybe but it depends: Just because it's on the internet doesn't make it true. Just because it happened to someone else doesn't mean it'll happen to you. Ask yourself what will happen if you don't take it. Ask your family doctor and/or OB about your (other) options. And while you're talking to them, get a prescription for birth control that you're willing to use to prevent a similar situation in the future.
