Needs to see doctor: Fever is an indication that she is sick. At 7 months of age, she will probably not give you many clues as to what is wrong. It is important that she be seen by her pediatrician asap. Cranberry juice can help prevent an uti, but is not a treatment.

Probably not enough: A baby with 103 degree fever should not be treated at home. There are too many variables to consider for this to be safe. The most important feature, with the help of a medical professional, is to ascertain exactly what is the source for your baby's fever. Often this requires testing of blood & urine, and possibly even x-rays. Cranberry juice while famous for treating adult utis is not recommended.

It won't help.: There are many reasons a 7 month old could have a fever. A UTI is only one of them but, if present, it needs to be treated by her doctor. Whether she needs to be seen immediately depends on how she is behaving and what other symptoms she has. She should be seen right away if she has a rash, severe pain, difficulty breathing, or abnormal behavior such as excessive sleepiness.
