Your condition might be due to sjogren disease which is very common condition and is manageable. It consists of dry mouth, dry eyes, and joint involvement.

Probably not: As answered many times before, sporadic fatal insomnia is extremely rare -- less than 20 cases known in the world. Please see a neurologist if you continue to be concerned about this -- but also you may benefit from seeing a psychiatrist as well. There can be helpful treatments for people who focus on having a serious illness, even though doctors have examined them and not found one.
