Some thots.: Most likely this is transient and benign, but if left arm associated with chest pain could possibly be cardiac in origin. Shooting pains can be nerve pinching, referred from elbow, wrist, neck, chest wall, shoulder. Not clear that fibromyalgia is culprit here. Maybe best to see your primary care doc, to at least get reassured.
