TMJ vs GCA: In your age group this is sometimes a worrisome sign known as jaw claudication and can bee seen with giant cell arteritis ( temporal arteritis) and polymyalgia rheumatica. Probably a good idea to see doc to eliminate the possibility.

Gum or occlusion: You either have periodontal disease or malocclusion which leads to muscular disturbance (muscle imbalance). Schedule with your dentist to make proper diagnosis, treat you gum disease, or correct your occlusion.
