Infection!: Most likely viral, although\infected sinus drainage can cause this. If viral, it should clear within days. If it does not, see your pcp!

May be normal bumps: There are some large papillae that look like bumps on the back of the tongue . If the throat hurts, then you may have viral or other infection which could make them be larger. You need exam by physician and possible cultures
