Most colon : Polyps are removed. They can be cancerous or pre-cancerous. If you have polyps, you should also get more regular screening.

Yes: All colon polyps need to be removed because they are the most common cause of colon cancer. Most cancers start in a polyp, that is why screening reduces the risk of colon cancer.
