Need more info: Sensitivity with all your teeth or just the front teeth? Do you have some gum recession where the roots of the teeth are exposed, which conducts more temperature changes. There are many toothpastes for sensitive teeth, but i recommend rubbing the toothpaste on the teeth or roots, not brushing with it. Don't rinse right afterwards. Flourides can help. Dentists can also paint on a desensitizer.

Sensitive teeth: Avoid extremes of temperature in foods, especially one after the other. Brush gently with soft toothbrush & non-abrasive paste to prevent damage to enamel. Sensitive-formula pastes help. Rinse mouth after meals to remove food acids; brush 30 minutes later to allow saliva to neutralize acids. Regular dental check-ups to catch cavities early.

Sensodyne: Teeth that are sensitive to cold you should be using a desensitizing tooth paste . One such is sensodyne. You can also use a prescrition tooth paste that has a higher concentration of fluoride.
