A member asked:

I have a blood blister under my eyelid which seems to have "ruptured" and has spread, looking like a blackeye.?

Leave alone: Just don't blame me for the shiner! but the best approach is to just leave the area alone. Keep your head elevated by sleeping on extra pillows or put thick books under the head side of your mattress. Ice packs to the area on and off for 5 minutes every hour additionally helps.
